Contract C-2105: Rice, flour and cooking oil stock
It is worth the money it will still pay you. Money later is worth a bit less than money now, so later payments count for less. The line falls as payments reach you: that money is already yours, not lost.
At the start: $10.45
Pick a month
How much do you want to earn each year?
At the start, one unit is worth about $10.45, if you want 12% a year.
It still has $10.80 to pay out. In its last month, just before the final payment, it is worth $1.80.
The issue price is $10.00, so it is worth 5% more than that price. Buying at that price would earn about 30.5% a year.

| Month 1 | $8.75 |

| Month 3 | $5.30 |
| Month 4 | $3.55 |
| Month 5 | $1.78 |
| Month 6 | $1.80 |
A guess, not a promise. It assumes every payment arrives in full and on time. If payments stop, a unit is worth less.

Contract terms
- The platform buys the goods from the supplier directly. The business never receives this $1,000 as cash.
- The business then repays cost plus a markup agreed at signing, over 6 months. The markup does not grow if repayment is late.
- Investors expect 7–9% over the whole term. The range is there because the final supplier invoice sets the exact figure.
- If the business fails, you can lose some or all of this money. Recovery goes back to investors in proportion to what each put in.
- If fraud is found, the business is permanently banned and what remains is liquidated back to investors.
